Artist: the Beatles
Song: Fixing a Hole
Album: Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Written by: Sir Paul McCartney & John Lennon
Tabbed by: Max Perenchio (Maxacaster@aol.com)

Tuning: DROPPED D!!! i swear! (D-A-D-G-B-E) odd for a beatles song eh?

Notes: There is something magical about that album. The best album of all
time in my opinion. Vh1 put it at #10! HA! #1 on my list. On of my favorite
songs on the album.

Just to let you know Im only tabbing the Guitar part...not the Harpsicord
parts! Look at the old olga files if you want the harpsicord transcribed to
guitar. But its in the key of Fm. So if you pluck out an Fm chord during the
verse, it sounds pretty good.

Key:
slide up= /
slide down= \
hammeron= h
pulloff= p
full step bend= ^fb
full bend the release= ^fbr
half step bend= ^hb

///INTRO\\\
no guitar-just harpsicord

///VERSE\\\
no guitar until the fill, but you you want to play along it is basically just
an Fm chord (1-3-3-1-1-1) or (x-x-10-10-9-8)<that one sounds cooler,
especially if you are plucking them individualy and letting them ring.

///FILL\\\ heres the guitar part for the verse.
E--8---------------
B--9--9------------
G-----10--10--8\7--
D---------10-------
A------------------
D------------------
thats easy

///CHORUS\\\ the guitar comes in when he says "where i belong" for the second
time. Remember: ITS IN DROPPED D TUNING. All the slides (/) are done very
fast.
E----------------------------------------------------
B----------------------------------------------------
G----------------------------------------------------
D----------------5--------------------5--------------
A----------3-5/7-------0h2-/5---3-5/7------0h2-/5----
D--3-2-0------------/5------------------/5-----------

E------------------------------------------------------------

G------------------------------------------------------------
D-------------5-------------------5------------0-2-3-5-5^fbr-
A------3-5/7-------0h2-/5---3-5/7------0h2-/5----------------
D--------------/5-------------------/5-----------------------

///GUITAR SOLO\\\-its pretty close to perfect. (light distortion)
E---5-----4--------4---------------------4-
B---6--/4-------/6-----6---------------6---
G--------------------5-------5------5------
D-------------------------6----3--6--------
A------------------------------------------

this is the cool part of the solo:
