I have know this song for years and over the time it's gone a stray
but I came across it again when looking for something else.

Now this, of course, is Knights In White Satin.
But I don't know if BJH had permission to do this but I have to say,
this is a beautiful piece of music and the lyrics change doesn't do
any damage to the song. Just shows a masterpiece remains so no matter.

POORMAN'S MOODYBLUES
(aka knights in white satin)

Em D
All the nights that I've missed you
Em D
all the nights without end
 C G
all the times that I've called you
F Em
only needing a friend

Em D
Now your eyes shine with beauty
Em D
that I missed long ago
C G
guess the truth is I love you
F Em
I can't say anymore

          A
cause I need you
        C
Yes, I want you
      Em
Yes I love you.

Em D
As I look from my window
Em D
to the streets where you stand
C G
I am gazing through dark glass
F Em
we can't walk hand in hand

Em D
though your friends try to tell me
Em D
though your friends you defend
C G
they keep my heart from your heart
F Em
we must be in the end

        A
Cause I love you
      C
Yes I need you

Cheers
Paul
