The reposted one is close, except for one note (and the more difficult fingering). one last correction to the intro, using "urzatroy"s version, the last two notes (8 and 7) should be on the G string not the D thanks, and for Chris, you're selfish and what do you need help with, the tab is great, read it. . . . .

i think the F in the chorus is right but its at the 8th fret not the first. is anyone else unsure of that G chord to end the chorus? it doesnt sound right, might be a C? also can someone please let me know about that x4 part of the solo, if its right and if so what effects it uses and if youre user name is jimmy page, inspiron, or bob mooner please put your head back up your ass where it belongs and dont waste peoples time with your stupid ass comments. if youre so good at guitar why are you even looking at tab websites? dont even respond to this unless you have a complete tab thats correct you want to post.

i dont usually jump into the foray of talking shit but since i came to check on corrections for this song i noticed that there are a lot of fags who think this is a chat room. please pick up your guitars and shove them up your asses! SANCHEZ, i think the solo effects might be delay(for sure), reverb, flange or whah, and dist., obviously. you can fake it by sliding into the notes from 4 or 5 frets preceding.check G.W. for better answers.

slipknot420 is ignorant and full of S#$T! Every one can look at the latest Guitar World now and stop speculating. There are of course many ways to do this, but the solo is actually played 2 octaves lower than it sounds. Tom used a wammy pedal that made the notes jump right after he hit the strings. And the tuning is 1 1/2 steps up. (E is now G..etc.) All these different ways all get you to the same place!!! It's just that's how Tom pulls off that solo.

It's A# D# G# C# A# if you work out the 1 and a half steps up. It's a pentatonic scale. You can play it on all the black keys on a piano for the melody or something. It Sounds right.

the intro is played on the lowest two strings, morello tunes his guitar up two in a half notes each to give them that pitch sound, your intros are way off.

If you listen to the song performed live, you'll notice that Tom cannot reproduce that "open string" sound on the bridge like he does in the studio. If you tune the guitar to Eb, and play the song in G# instead of G, you can reproduce Both parts with NO CAPO. The bridge would now be: E-B-Eb7-E-Em-C#7-D#7-Abm-E-B-D#7-E-Em-C#7-D#7

check Guitar World May 2003 for tabs. use a capo at the fifth fret or tune UP to GCFBbDg. The intro and verses are a simple lick around the 12 fret, low string. the chorus is Em G D5 Em.
