I havealwaays played this song in the key of A. And it always sounded great.
Where is the intro for Ramblin Man?
they orginaly did this song in the key of G# so just play ever chord on here #
Hey guitar master,
I agree with you, it was in the key of A, but if you'll notice the A.B Band tuned down a half step for this song. I think it was so they could get the vocals to match the chord structure so the song could be played in the key of "A". But in 440 tuning it is G#. It was much easier to be played in "A" instead of "G#" because in the verse and the chorus they use an "E" chord and it is much esier to play an "E" than it is to play an "D#" these are the chords for the chorus A-D-A--A-D-E--D-A-F#m-D-A-E-A. And so-on.
